Wanchain Adds OKC to Decentralised Crosschain Infrastructure
Most blockchains today operate independently, making them walled gardens in the sense that the activities that occur in one blockchain cannot be shared with others. The reason for this is the heterogeneous nature of sovereign blockchains as well as the fact that they each maintain their own consensus system and ledger. And this is why we’re glad to announce that Wanchain, a decentralised blockchain interoperability solution with a mission to drive blockchain adoption through interoperability by bridging the world’s many siloed blockchain networks, now supports OKC.
By integrating OKC, Wanchain’s unique, non-custodial crosschain bridges will bring new assets and liquidity to OKC’s vibrant ecosystem of projects and applications. These bridges will also create new use cases for $OKT in other ecosystems.
Initially, the following blockchains will be bridged directly to OKC: Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Polygon, Wanchain, and XDC Network. The asset routes include:

OKC ecosystem projects will use Wanchain’s crosschain blockchain infrastructure to create new value and use cases for their users by harnessing the power of crosschain technology.
Wanchain is both a sustainable Layer 1 PoS blockchain and a decentralised wide area network of blockchains.
