Wanchain Bridge Node upgrade coming on June 5th
The Wanchain team is happy to announce that there will be a Bridge Node (Storeman) agent upgrade on June 5th, 2023! This upgrade is necessary to add a new major blockchain network to Wanchain’s crosschain infrastructure.
This upgrade will take place at 3:00 AM UTC, June 5th, 2023.
What regular users need to do
As with all Wanchain network upgrades, the only thing you need to do is plan ahead! While Wanchain’s Bridge node operators update their nodes, crosschain transactions may be unavailable. Please keep an eye on Wanchain’s official Twitter account for up-to-date announcements.
What Bridge Node operators need to do
Bridge node operators must upgrade to Agent version 3.14.6 as soon as possible on Monday (after 3:00 UTC, June 5th, 2023). The Wanchain team has once again prepared a simple update script to make the process as smooth as possible.
The update script is:
cd ~/osm/
./startStoremanV5.shAs a reminder, Bridge Node operators that fail to upgrade their nodes in a timely manner will not be able to perform and verify crosschain transactions.
