Wanchain bridges to CLV, the passport to the omniverse
Wanchain, the global leader for blockchain interoperability solutions, and CLV, a blockchain infrastructure platform and Polkadot parachain focused on crosschain compatibility for DeFi applications, have deployed new bridges connecting the CLV Parachain with Ethereum, Moonriver and Wanchain. As a direct result of this integration, CLV’s ecosystem of projects and applications will benefit from new assets and liquidity.
The asset routes that will initially be supported by Wanchain’s unique, non-custodial cross-chain bridges are:
- CLV <> Ethereum: $USDC, $USDT
- CLV <> Moonriver: $USDC, $USDT, $FINN
- CLV <> Wanchain: $WAN
In addition to these bridges, Wanchain has also added CLV Wallet support to the WanBridge web portal. CLV has, in turn, will integrate Wanchain’s bridged assets directly into the CLV Wallet. This means that crosschain transactions involving Wanchain’s bridged assets can be completed conveniently within the CLV Wallet itself.
Wanchain is both a sustainable Layer 1 PoS blockchain and a decentralised wide area network of blockchains. The Wanchain Layer 1 PoS blockchain is a full Ethereum-like environment that works with industry-standard Ethereum tools, DAPPs, and protocols. Wanchain’s wide area network of blockchains is a decentralised system of direct, non-custodial crosschain bridges that connect both EVM and non-EVM networks without requiring any centralised intermediaries. These bridges use a combination of Secure Multiparty Computation (sMPC) and Shamir’s Secret Sharing to secure overcollateralized cross-chain assets. Currently, more than 17 Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks are connected by Wanchain’s wide area network of blockchains including but not limited to Arbitrum, Avalanche C-Chain, Bitcoin, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Fantom, Litecoin, OKC Network, Polkadot Relay Chain, Polygon, XDC Network, XRP Ledger, and now CLV.
The CLV is a Substrate-based specialized Layer 1 chain that is EVM compatible and cross-chain interoperable. The CLV wallet is a multi-chain all-in-one wallet, for Day-to-Day, Defi, Gaming purposes.
