Wanchain Paris meetup ! (Video)
Dear Wanchain community,
We are excited to announce the development of an active French community that will support us and our vision of rebuilding the current financial infrastructure.
Our first WANference in Paris !
Our first European meetup was held on the 29th of May at the ECE Paris engineering school, located in the heart of Paris 20 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower. Oliver Birch Vice President of Wanchain and Johann Eid our French ambassador spoke at the conference, focused on our vision, technical solutions, WanLab and finally the importance that Wanchain holds in regards to our community and its future building and developement.

Future developement plans
In the coming weeks and months we aim to host more meetups and other events designed to introduce Wanchain and its key role in the upcoming digital economy revolution to hundreds of French students, professionals and cryptocurrency enthusiasts. We have also launched a Telegram group where the French community will be able to discuss the progress Wanchain is making and the state of its adoption in France.
Wanchain’s philosophy and our Global vision
Wanchain’s vision is to build a more efficient world financial system. One that will allow everyone access to financial services such as credits and loans, regardless of where they are or how wealthy they are. Our purpose is to bring financial freedom to the 2 billion unbanked of this world and to help take the digital economy one step closer to mainstream adoption.
Our vision is global and we intend to spread it across every country by building local communities of programmers and cryptocurrency passionates.
For this purpose we will be particularly active in promoting Wanchain and bringing developers to our platform by hosting Solidity workshops where we will demonstrate the unique features of Wanchain such as creating smart contracts with privacy transactions and interoperability between different chains (once Wanchain 2.0 is released). Hackathons as well as PR campaigns in engineering schools and many other events will be taking place in the coming months.
The blockchain world is destined to bring dramatic changes to the world as we currently know it, both on the financial level but also political and cultural shifts.
Wanchain aims to be at the forefront of this trasnformation and welcomes you to help us in building this future.
