Wanchain partners with Band Protocol to add real-world data feeds with Band oracle integration
Band Protocol — a data governance protocol for Web 3.0 applications, that provides secure oracle connections, is partnering with Wanchain in order to integrate its real world data feeds to the chain.
One of Wanchain’s goals is to change and improve the way the world does financial transactions. As the new digital economy transforms, people and machines will transact daily through smart devices using digital currencies. Wanchain aims in its growth to be one of the primary technology infrastructures facilitating transactions between blockchains.
As part of its technological needs to expand its capability, applications built on Wanchain will need to leverage real-world input such as financial market data, real world events or IOT devices, as well as interface with legacy financial infrastructure, payment gateways and web 2.0 APIs. By integrating Band Protocol into WanChain they will access these capabilities by virtue of faster, cheaper, more secure and easier-to-integrate oracles becoming available on their platform for developers to use and build upon. Likewise Band Protocol will benefit from being integrated into an ecosystem that supports a high degree of interoperability, providing more flexibility for end users to interact with the protocol, which should lead to new solutions becoming available to provide greater adoption of Band.
In addition to their plans to integrate Band Protocol, Wanchain is also committed to long term and multi-faceted cooperation with Band. The two organizations intend to work together to promote the establishment of new and exciting decentralized applications and use cases that make full use of real world data. Other opportunities that real event data feeds and interoperable capabilities that the technologies respectively enable will also be explored.
Wanchain will also help Band Protocol by leveraging its rich global resources and community and will aid Band Protocol in its expansion and community building efforts as the protocol continues to grow in functionality.
