Wanchain Progress Update — 04 May 2018

We would like to present you with our latest progress update. Please read below for rundown of some important things that have occurred in the last month.
Development
We would like to present you with the latest development update.
Wanwallet 1.1: To be released in May (waiting for Ledger)
- Ledger support
- UI Improvements
Wan Explorer 1.1: (release mid-May)
- Display key information of smart contracts (ICO contracts and WRC-20)
- UI and homepage improvements.
Wanchain Core 2.0 cross-chain with Ethereum
Alpha Testnet (only open to 50 community developers) will be released in the beginning of May. We will issue a registration form next week. As with Wanchain 1.0, we will invite some community developers to test out Wanchain 2.0 along with allocated bounties from the Wanchain Foundation (Alpha Testnet will be with Command line only).
The Beta Testnet (open to all) will be released in the beginning of June and will be open to all participants with allocated bounties from the Wanchain Foundation.
We are also excited to let everyone know that one of the community developers has been working on a Wanchain Trezor wallet.
Partnerships
ZGC Inno Town, Wanglu Tech, WANCHAIN, WanLab and Chengqu Education
The project is a collaboration between ZGC Inno Town, Wanglu Tech, Wanchain, WANLab and Chengqu Education.
What is ZGC Inno Town?
ZGC Inno Town is an incubator program for fintech start-ups. Recently, ZGC Inno Town has released a new project called “33333” which is aimed at supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in the blockchain industry.
ZGC Inno Town covers an area of 1.2 million square meters. It has been operational since November 24th of last year and is already home to 500 start-ups and 4,000 entrepreneurs.
What is the 33333 Project?
The 33333 Project is geared towards acquiring the best people in the blockchain. The 33333 Project can be broken into 4 key objectives.
a) Train 30,000 blockchain talents.
b) Cultivate 3,000 elites in the blockchain business
c) Incubate 300 blockchain start-ups
d) Have 30 unicorn companies in 3 years.
Workshops
A special kind of workshop, combining online and offline education, will take place every six weeks to train technical blockchain talents. The first training session is scheduled for June 10th 2018.
Collaboration
ZGC Inno Town will partner with elite global blockchain teams to accelerate outstanding blockchain projects such as incubation, finance, the Internet of Things, supply chains, human resources, biomedical products, education, food and public welfare, and to assist blockchain companies to cultivate technical talent.

Beyond Blocks Keynote (Tokyo, Japan) — 4–5 April 2018
Founder of Wanchain, Jack Lu, and VP Asia, Li Ni — attended the Tokyo Beyond Blocks Keynote Conference alongside Utour, AllSpark and GameBank projects.
World Blockchain Forum Dubai — 16th — 17th of April 2018.
Wanchain announced WANLab at the World Blockchain Forum in Dubai. WANLab is an international blockchain accelerator and incubator powered by Wanchain.
