Wanchain Progress Update — 12 January 2018

We hope everyone has had a good start to 2018. We would like to present the community with a small update.
AMA
The Wanchain AMA will commence on Monday 15th of January at 16:00 UTC. The community will have until the 17th of January (16:00 UTC) to ask Wanchain Founder Jack Lu and President Dustin Byington questions on our subreddit.
Procedure:
- You can start posting your questions about Wanchain on the 15th of January at 16:00 UTC on https://www.reddit.com/r/wanchain — we will create a thread prior to.
- The Reddit thread will close on the 17th of January at 16:00 UTC. No more questions will be accepted.
- The most upvoted questions on our Reddit thread will be answered by Jack Lu and Dustin Byington.

- No trolling/abusive comments.
- 48 hours to submit your questions.

On December 14th, Dustin Byington, the President of Wanchain , Min Kim, the Co-Founder of Icon, and Matthew Spoke, the Founder of Aion participated in the podcast detailing the following points:

Dubai International Blockchain Summit
Wanchain attended the Dubai International Blockchain Summit on the 8th of January. The conference was one of the largest gatherings of the Blockchain Industry in the Middle East (with over 1,300 attendees).
Please note, we are still waiting for the organizers to upload the video. Once we have the video of Dustin Byington´s speech (highlighting use case, technology, vision) we will upload it to our youtube channel.
Dubai Meet-Up
Wanchain set up a local event with help of its community managers on the 9th of January. We had over 150 registrations and 100 attendees.
The event lasted for over 3 hours which included a 1 hour Wanchain Presentation made by Dustin Byington, followed by a Q&A and Networking session, food and drinks.

Austin Meet-Up (11th January — Austin, TX)
Founder of Wanchain Jack Lu and President of Wanchain Dustin Byington presented the platform at a local meet up in Austin, Texas (USA) on the 11th of December.

BTC Miami (18, 19th January — Miami, FL)
On the 18th and 19th of January the BTC Miami conference will take place. Jack Lu will be speaking at the venue on both days. Wanchain is one of the Platinum Sponsors of this event.

Miami Wanchain Party (18th January)
Wanchain will be hosting a party on the 18th of January in Miami, FL after the first day of the conference. Stay tuned for more updates.
