To coin a phrase: take heart. One can be a responsible citizen and maintain the full ability to feel wonder. Those who have experienced an erosion in their sense of wonder? Not to worry. There are simple, delicious, fast and powerful ways to reclaim it without neglecting practical responsibilities.

It is my, Wendy’s, privilege and pleasure to be a kind of secret Grandmistress of Wonder. And Ralph, a secret Grandmaster. We are about to let you in on ten of our very best Secrets.

We have discovered, and we are here to tell you, that you always possess the power to feel Wonder. And you have the power to conjure Wonder into the lives of others, like a wish-granting genie. Let us restore you to the awe you once found in Wonderland, Oz, Neverland and the fairy stories told to you at bedtime by your mom or dad, grandma or grandpa.

How? Just use your native curiosity. We will reawaken your ability to wander, freestyle, in Wonder, stopping to smell the flowers.

Just So. Lesson One.

Gratefully valuing, rather than grasping, the world at the tip of our fingers. Let the world touch you rather than your seizing the world.
