Wander was built with the purpose of connecting people, and we believe the strongest way to do this is bringing the power of mobile messaging to communities.

We love communities; they are the heart of what makes us human — people getting together for a positive common purpose.

Many of these communities don’t have the capacity to build their own social network or run a sophisticated online portal. And they shouldn’t have to. Facebook groups (broadcasting news), Meetup events (no chatting before or after) and forums (posting on a board) lack the ability for members to interact with each other in real-time, so we saw communities posting links, waiting around for replies and not being able to reflect the interaction and energy online as they tend to do offline.

Wander fills this gap. We empower all communities to connect their members through mobile group messaging. Members can now interact easily with each other — the very purpose of communities!

To further support our communities, we feature key communities powered by Wander so people can discover them and easily join the conversation.

This week, we present Owl Readers Club!

Owl Readers Club is a club specially designed to encourage families to cultivate good reading habits. The founders of Owl Readers Club strongly believe that cultivating the habit of reading starts from young and parents play an important role of allowing our children to experience the joy of turning the pages of a book as we read to them. With these beliefs in mind, you will find an array of features to allow families to embark on an engaging and exciting reading journey.

Apart from curating quality children’s titles at reasonable prices, organising interesting reading-related events, providing opportunities to meet with fellow book-loving families and rewarding active club members, Owl Readers Club also constantly works on tie-ups with existing merchants to provide added benefits for their members.

They’re committed to creating a club where members will enjoy both tangible and intangible rewards of reading with their children.
