Death and Taxes

Life is short and wealth is fleeting!

They say that nothing is certain but death and taxes

But what if we could cheat them both somehow?

What if we could live forever and never pay our dues?

Would we be happier or would we lose our purpose?

Some people try to evade the inevitable fate

They hide their wealth in offshore accounts and schemes

They seek the fountain of youth or the elixir of life

They hope to escape the grim reaper and the IRS

But they are only fooling themselves and wasting time

For death and taxes will always find them in the end

They cannot outrun the laws of nature and of man

They will have to face the consequences of their actions

So let us not be afraid or resentful of death and taxes

But rather accept them as part of our human condition

Let us live well and pay our fair share while we can

And leave behind a legacy of love and kindness
