I’m a New Jersey native who moved to northern New Hampshire about 5 years ago. It’s a beautiful place full of history and beauty. As it did myself, I see it consistently capture the hearts of travelers from all over the world. In this article, I want to share with you why I believe this region of New Hampshire is becoming increasingly popular.

Whether you’re looking for a summer festival, a sunrise hike, a cool splash in pristine waters, want to go antique shopping, visit an art gallery, golf with the backdrop of the iconic presidential range, float down a river, or even rent an ATV for the day, there is truly something for everyone within a short drive. The Laconia area is equally suited for couples, families, friend groups, and great for solo travelers.
