Feature alert: Photo upload

A picture is worth a thousand words. When we started working on Wanderlust Society, we believed images were always a crucial ingredient to travel planning and discovery. Just seeing a single picture of some inspirational destination could kick off planning for a next great vacation.

From day one, users could always select images for their trip idea cards from select photos from Google, Flickr or the original saved website URL. We’ve now made it possible to upload a custom image for any of your idea cards. Just look for the Upload Photo option when adding or editing an idea.

A great time to add a custom photo is when checking off your ideas as “Been There.” By uploading a personal photo you made with a phone or camera, you can remember exactly what that experience looked like for your completed idea card. Also, uploading photos are a great way to share and help other Wanderlust Society users discover your ideas and add them to their own vacation planning.

You can upload photos from both desktop computers and mobile devices. Give photo upload a try for your next planning or travel session.
