Updates: WandX Desktop App and WANDNEO Airdrop
Over the last one month, we’ve made progress not only in terms of building out our Desktop application but also in growing our community. Below are some of the key highlights:
So far, over 3500 users have installed the WandX desktop app, and over 4000 new NEO Wallets have been created on the Desktop app.
Our community across social media has grown to over 10,000 and some more.
Our Ethereum and NEO based DEX and Basket protocol are ready to go on the main network this month.
We recently introduced Wanchain wallets on the Desktop app, hence enabling users to store WAN and WAN based assets on the Desktop application going forward.
With all this, and the app supporting wallets across Blockchains, WandX is now officially the first multi-Blockchain DEX with a hedging protocol that enables creation of Token Baskets.
We couldn’t have come this far without the support of our community and we thank you all for it.
Now, with a focus on growth, our roadmap for the next 6 months looks like this:
- October 2018 —Release NEO and ETH DEX and Basket Protocol on the main network
- December 2018 — Launch the first test of Wanchain interoperability protocol to check for interoperability of BTC with ETH/NEO and work on Baskets of BTC+ETH+WAN+NEO.
- February 2019 — WAN, AION, ETH, NEO wallets on WandX followed by the full-release of Wanchain interoperability functions.
- May 2019 — Enable Wanchain privacy protocol for privacy-focused DEX, interoperable across Blockchains in tandem with privacy-enabled Baskets.
1:1 Airdrop of WAND to WANDNEO
It’s taken us a while to get here, but we are ready to commence the airdrop of the new WANDNEO token.
If you are a WAND holder and haven’t yet had a chance to complete the registrations, follow the instructions in this video and complete the steps on https://neoairdrop.wandx.co/. In effect, what you are doing is confirming that you own WAND Tokens by signing a transaction with the same private key where you are holding WAND. Since we are airdropping Tokens on a different Blockchain, we have to confirm that you hold WAND on Ethereum, and then transfer the same number of WANDNEO to your NEO address that you enter in the form.
In this procedure, we do not hold your private keys, we do not ask you to transfer all your WAND to another address.

To all airdrop registrants who are new to WandX, be sure to download the WandX Desktop app on Mac/Windows/Linux, create a new NEO wallet, fill out the airdrop form to receive your WANDNEO. Timeline to get WANDNEO Tokens
WANDNEO Token distribution will start from October 12th and go on till November 12th. If you haven’t received your Tokens by November 12th, do send an email to marketing@wandx.co.
