Big news! We are excited to announce that as part of the upcoming release of Wappler 5, we are rebranding with a new logo and color scheme as part of the ongoing evolution of Wappler itself. We’re releasing an updated brand identity, which includes a new definition of our logo and colors.

Our professional image has evolved and grown over the past few years, and it has become time to adapt. We changed our logo to reflect who we are today and to symbolize our vibrant future.

Through many creative meetings, we have designed a modern new logo that incorporates key elements that communicate our mission and focus on growth, while maintaining our well-known reputation!

Our old logo did a great job in our early work, but it has become time to move on and innovate further.

We went for something more dynamic, solid, bold, serious and modern. Without straying too far from the old logo, we focused more on creativity (represented by bold colors) and opted for a more mature, solid typeface. We kept the essentials, but needed to keep up with current technological developments. We think the new logo and brand identity does a good job of representing this.

The New Logo

The idea behind our new logo is to illustrate the creative and technical freedom you get with using Wappler. Our ongoing goal is to make Wappler increasingly visual and accessible to new users and especially design-oriented people. This fits the new logo statement as well.

The new logo isn’t just the letter W — it represents an artist’s brushstrokes, you usually start with sketch strokes like this on a new painting, try the different colors. Then the punch gets better and better and finally straightens. This is also Wappler’s idea — You start experimenting with your creativity and eventually deliver a full-fledged professional product (the straight line)

In fact, there were a lot of hidden meanings in our previous logo too. It was artistic, entirely hand-painted and deliberately out of scale. It ultimately represents creative illustration. So it definitely had a good vibe but it was missing the professionalism of the work. Next to this, we felt the use of the color red was too specific.

Website

With the announcement of our new brand identity, we have revamped our website. The new website offers rich new content in a modern, uncluttered and organized layout, giving visitors easy access to our information about Wappler and highlighting its best features. The new website will be released consequently with the release of Wappler 5.

The new website and brand identity reflect the bold, energetic and forward-looking energy of Wappler, and are designed to inspire and further elevate us as we continue to provide updates to Wappler.

Over the next few months, you’ll see how all the other visuals around Wappler align with this new direction: somewhere on the site, our community, and software (though not in a way that will keep you from the important business of getting things done, of course).

We are still Wappler as you know it.
