North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Il died in 2011 after nearly two decades of of dangerously toying with nukes and pretty much wrecking his already-impoverished nation. But hey, he was good friends with China’s ruling oligarchy, so a Beijing museum has just unveiled a lifelike wax statue of the diminutive strongman as a gift to Kim’s son and successor, the equally megalomaniacal Kim Jong Un.

We’re celebrating all the dictatorial weirdness with reprints of our 2010 Kim Jong Il Comix, written by Kyle Mizokami and drawn by Matt Bors.
