It might not be 104 days of summer vacation but we at Warhorse are determined to make sure that whatever days of summer vacation you have, will be engaging and fun with the Warhorse Summer of Learning. Warhorse’s summer camp helps children pick up 21st century skills through public speaking, debating, writing, critical thinking, theatre and more all in a gamified format.

As per World Bank estimates, 69% of jobs in India, 77% in China and 85% in Ethiopia are threatened by automation. The educational institutions of the country are still prepping the students for jobs that won’t exist in the future. At the Warhorse Summer Camp we focus on developing skills that will not only employ you in the future, but put you in a place where you’ll be able to understand yourself better.

The camp is split into various experiences based on age groups. First comes the Warhorse Summer Theatre Experience for ages 7–10. Most kids have stage fear, and the best way to overcome any fear is by doing more of the thing that scares you. With theatre, kids not only learn collaboration, expression and leadership but become more confident in themselves. In this course, kids are taught the basics of theatre, understanding voice, adapting space, advanced movement, storytelling and performance. This course draws out their imagination and innovation.

Next is the Basic Evaluation Camp which focuses on ages 10–15. This camp is basically a road map to the kid’s future. The 7-day camp will give kids a chance to play the roles of politicians, lawyers and journalists thus developing skills of public speaking, debating and writing. This camp is designed in a way that the student, parent and trainer identify areas of strength and weakness, and plan the road ahead.

We weren’t kidding when we said this is a Summer of Learning, Communication for the Real World is a course offered to age groups 15+, this is an intensive 7-session course focused on communication for young adults and professionals. By communication we don’t only mean public speaking and communication on a professional forefront, but to be able to present oneself better. It involves cornerstones of effective communication like active listening, set disclosure, expression, conflict negotiation, group discussions, interviews skills and more.

The whole camp is gamified, meaning everything is tied to an engaging storyline where the kids play characters, solve puzzles, take stances, write stories and work in teams. Activity based learning along with highly comprehensive evaluations are sure to provide you with a clear cut view of where one stands and develop the desired skills.

This April, join the Summer of Learning as we help you to think better, speak better know more and become a better version of yourself. The summer of a lifetime awaits!
