The Unsent Letter

when in your kid’s words you find that letter

I asked him to write a story.
and he wrote about me
in the canvas of his mind
he could only see me.

Maybe for now
I am the only muse
where he could find
his words.

When I read him
I held his poem
that unsent letter
on the page.
