HBO RECEIVES 94 PRIMETIME EMMY® NOMINATIONS, THE MOST OF ANY NETWORK THIS YEAR; GAME OF THRONES LEADS ALL PROGRAMMING WITH 23 NOMINATIONS

LOS ANGELES, July 14, 2016 — HBO received 94 Primetime Emmy® nominations, the most of any network for the 16th year in a row, for the upcoming 68th Primetime Emmy Awards®, which were announced today in Los Angeles.

“Game of Thrones” led all nominees for the third year in a row with 23 nominations, while “Veep” received 17 nominations, and “Silicon Valley” received 11 nominations.
