The Wasteland Liquidity Program and Map Expansion
War Riders has seen incredible growth over the last few months. The number of players has skyrocketed to tens of thousands, and the value of the main Wasteland currency Benzene (BZN) has exploded. As a result, it is now very difficult to survive and mine crypto in the Wasteland without a backup. The BZN shortages are everywhere, and the lack of liquidity is annoying for a lot of warriors.
To help solve these issues, the map expansion and liquidity program are scheduled to launch in the upcoming days. In addition to that, the new gameplay trailer should coincide with the map expansion release. The exact date and time will be announced a few days before the launch. Please note that the dates are subject to change, and you must RSVP here to receive the exact details of the Wasteland Liquidity launch.
What is the Wasteland Liquidity Program?
In order to ensure that the most powerful warriors and future players have access to a reliable BZN exchange pool, up to 1M BZN can be claimed by anyone who wants to participate in the program. Additionally, up to 250K BZN will be allocated for the staking rewards. These tokens will come from the Advisor Pool and will be subject to a 1-year lock schedule, with 50% unlocking in just 6 months.
What are the benefits?
The participants will enjoy a massive BZN allocation, become major liquidity providers and earn trading fees and staking rewards. In addition to that, all participants with an allocation of over 50K/100K BZN will receive a unique badge with their desired clan name, mounted on up to 10/20 vehicles, respectively.
Why now?
Increasing the amount of liquidity locked is beneficial for the overall stability of the in-game economy. In addition to that, players need to have access to a reliable BZN exchange pool for the upcoming sale of garage tokens, which will be held exclusively in BZN.
Garages allow players to earn passive income in the game based on the entrance fees. Just this summer, over 11,000 BZN were earned collectively by the garage token holders. We realize that some P2E guilds and other powerful players would like to secure sufficient garage ownership; hence, they may need a way to acquire additional BZN.
How does it work?
This Liquidity Program is completely decentralized, and the War Riders team will not have any authority over the execution process. All participants who RSVP here will receive a link to the webpage that will allow them to deposit ETH to the Liquidity Locking contract. If the contract reaches the minimum amount of ETH required, the contract will execute and send half of ETH to the War Riders’ multisig, while another half will be matched with BZN at the current market rate and will be automatically deposited into the Uniswap V2 ETH/BZN pool. The LP tokens will be staked in the same contract along with any excess BZN that was allocated to the user but not deposited into the Uniswap pool. The staking rewards will accrue automatically and will be subject to the same locking schedule. If the contract does not reach the minimum amount of ETH required by the due date, the participants will be able to get their ETH back in full by executing the refund transaction.
Sound complicated?
It’s really not that difficult, and our simple UI/UX will guide you through this beautiful DeFi experience. To help you understand the flow of the contract, we have prepared the following diagram. You will own 100% of BZN allocated to you, 50% of the ETH you sent and additional BZN staking rewards, proportional to your staking share. Please note that the ratio of ETH/BZN locked in the Uniswap pool may change based on the trading activity.
What happens to other BZN pools?
We understand that circulating supply matters, which is why the remaining tokens in the Company/Team Pool will be put on the additional 2-year locking schedule prior to launching the Wasteland Liquidity Program. If the contract reaches the minimum amount of ETH required, we will lock 95% of the remaining advisor tokens for 1 year, leaving 5% for the various community incentives.
What are the risks?
Please note that using smart contracts carries potential risks. We’ve done our best to ensure that the Wasteland Liquidity smart contract is as secure as it can be, and we have performed automated audit (unit tests) found here. We welcome the community to perform their own audit and will offer up to 1,000 BZN collectively as a bug bounty.
Please note that using AMM systems, such as Uniswap, also carries certain financial risks, so you should always do your own research prior to participating in the program. We have updated our roadmap tailored for the global expansion and refrained from tying it to any specific deadlines. We understand that the community can be very impatient, and we don’t like delays any more than you do, but delays are inevitable in this innovative industry.
In the past two weeks, we had to shift our focus to building the DDoS monitoring/protection system, and hence some things got delayed once again. The 0.15.0 is still scheduled to be released any moment now. We understand the most critical problems that our players are facing today and we are doing everything to solve them as quickly as possible. The enhanced spawn protection, bigger map and ephemeral nodes should mitigate these issues and introduce more decentralization. We are expecting to see up to 23 BZN nodes in the new map.
The Coingecko and CMC profiles will be updated after we finish the execution of the Wasteland Liquidity program to prevent the unneccessary FOMO before the launch.
