WarsawJS exists to support both professional and novice software developers within the IT community. We intend to accelerate the process of education by sharing our knowledge and experience.

Although our community was established in Warsaw, we are now internationally renowned. This is largely thanks to our global network of members and sponsors.

WarsawJS is for everyone. We are proud to be able to provide a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, religion (or lack thereof). Our policies are clearly defined and readily available. By complying with the Berlin Code of Conduct, we can contribute to its open-source repository.

We are open to all levels of IT understanding. Members who are new to the industry will have unlimited access to an extensive amount of practical experience and advice. Members who are already working as developers are constantly able to evolve by sharing their experience. This translates into the refining of code quality and an improvement of its practical application.

Developers who get involved with WarsawJS events provide the companies they work for with their improved abilities. In order for the process to continue uninterrupted, these companies then go on to maintain the activities of WarsawJS as sponsors. They become an integral part of the community. Our sponsors also pay for branding and marketing, which in the case of WarsawJS is based on input, rather than costly advertising.

There are a variety of ways to get involved in WarsawJS events that enable you to develop both in terms of technical knowledge and other transferable skills. As a consequence, the participants improve themselves comprehensively, while helping others to develop.

The students often become the teachers and it is this positive effect that enables us to create a continuous loop that benefits the community as a whole!

If you or someone you know is interested in joining or contributing to WarsawJS, don’t hesitate to let us know. For more information, please visit our website: warsawjs.com
