A watchmaking platform
Funder watches is much more than a brand, it’s a watchmaking platform. Renown Danish horological architect and designer Thomas Funder, in collaboration with Watch Angels, has developed a modular watch system that is based on a minimalistic titanium monocoque case.
The ergonomic Funder case, executed in natural, blue, gunmetal and bronze titanium, seamlessly accepts movement modules and straps to allows you to collect watchmaking complications without needing to buy a new watch every time, or to easily and affordably change your watch configuration to achieve a desired aesthetic result.
The “Måne” moonphases module is the first complication of this unique new brand lauched in 2021. It features a very reliable Automatic Sellita SW288 Swiss made movement and offers 3 different ways to read the phases of the moon with its “Phase”, “State” and “Day” dial designs.
The configurations
Currently there are 70 possible configurations with the Funder Watches components. Like every watch enthusiast knows, changing a dial color, a dial design or just the strap can give a whole new watch. With Funder Watches this fact takes on a whole new dimension.
