Rad & OTTera announced a partnership to bring OTTera’s content catalog to the Rad platform. OTTera is a professional white label service that allows companies to quickly launch highly customized, affordable OTT services. Based in Los Angeles, OTTera manages 24 channels with over 50+ million users worldwide. These channels range from niche film libraries to children’s animation. Rad (formerly known as Littlstar) was recently a launch application for PlayStation 5, and recently introduced Watch Parties on Android TVs for linear programming and live events.

“OTTera continues to prove they are a technology leader in the OTT space with a top-notch content library and programming,” said Matthew Collado, Co-founder and Chief Content Officer of Rad. “Rad is excited to partner with OTTera to launch their channels across millions of devices while reaching audiences in new and innovative ways.”

The partnership will mean that all of OTTera’s content will be available on Rad across devices, collectively adding hundreds of millions of consoles, smart TVs, and mobile devices to the potential audience. It also provides a foundation for technical innovation around content and dedicated communities, using Rad’s Watch Parties for streaming while people are stuck inside as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the content will be available to PlayStation VR users in custom virtual environments, where viewers can sit back in a personal theater away from the outside world.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with OTTera, and bring their bundle of fresh community driven content to Rad,” said Tony Mugavero, Co-founder and CEO of Rad. “This deal enables entirely different ways for fans to connect via their interests, like gaming, food, sports and lifestyle, all while leveraging emerging technologies to take it to the next level.”

“We are proud to bring our channels to Rad’s platform ,” said Stephen L. Hodge, co-CEO of OTTera Inc. “Many channels in our growing library are perfectly tailored to what their audience wants, and we are looking forward to finding more unique ways to cater to that experience.”

OTTera channels on Rad will include:

  • Cooking Panda — Tasty cooking recipes and food news
