1) Check our schedule
to see what our speakers and areas have to offer. Just go to https://waterkant18.sched.com/ and look at our full program, by day, by time, by topic, or by venue.

Use the filters on the right-hand side to choose the topics that you are interested in. If you choose “Woman’s Entrepreneurship” for instance, you’ll see the Sessions and Workshops relating to it:

2) Get your ticket
If you haven´t already, go to eventbrite and get your ticket. To make the check-in process at the festival site quick and easy, make sure to have the ticket on your phone. At check you’ll get your lanyard, badge, and (if you were one of the early-birds) a temporary waterkant tattoo :) woop-woop!!

Checking in is fun :)

3) Log into Sched
Bookmark the sessions you don´t want to miss and create your individual schedule. A good hint is to click on everything that seems to be interesting and get rid of some later on. You’ll need a pause during the day to have a chat or just a beer in the sun. Pre-planning will make it a lot easier — and more enjoyable — for you on the festival, trust us. Just click on “My Sched” and you’ll see what you have chosen afterwards.

When you use the mobile version, you’ll know right away what comes next at the festival itself: https://waterkant18.sched.com/mobile

If you pre-plan your #Waterkant18 experience you’ll also help us planning all of the sessions, workshops and meetups right. We could move a popular sessions into a bigger area for instance. In any case: we, and all of our speakers are really excited to meet you at the Waterkant Festival this year!

4) Spread the word about #waterkant18
We would like to foster a new culture of knowledge sharing in Schleswig-Holstein. As we have learned from all of our wonderful Barcamps in Flensburg, Lübeck, St. Peter Ording and Kiel: Talk about your experience at this kind of open events :) The more, the better! You want to meet your friends there or think you know someone who´ll be interested in this year´s topics and speakers? Invite them! Spread the word about the Waterkant Festival on twitter, Xing, LinkedIn, facebook… your choice!

Please remember that Waterkant is run as a non-profit event (opencampus.sh by campus businessbox e.V.)We will try to think about everything but you should not expect every detail to be prefect! Who wants perfect anyway?

Get stuck in, and help us make a wonderful, memorable event for everyone! We can’t wait to meet you all there!

We are very excited to see you at #waterkant18! Get ready for the greatest and most memorable edition yet!

Ahoy! Your Waterkant Team
