‘Believers’ Sometimes Are Simply People Who Believe Everything and Anything
There are no boundaries to belief, and no need to remain sacred to make others morally happy and comfortable
When we believe, we feel more valuable, especially when we share that belief with a huge crowd. But, one thing we fail to realize as ‘believers’ is that no one really shares a belief in something exactly how others do, differences are essential for beliefs to exist.
This is why rationality has to guide belief, because once rationality gets tossed away, we end up in a battle of ideas, and a hierarchy of propaganda that benefits a select few.
The Dogma Phenomena
Man created God in his image, and believing this would give you clarity, enough clarity to allow you navigate and form your very own belief system.
One power of ‘belief systems' is guilt tripping and fear mongering. The constant fear gets you more terrified of eternal punishment than the risk of never experiencing self discovery. You’ll always want a 'backup' plan and this will definitely hold you back from wandering into the 'heretic world of possibilities’.
You have to hold on to some core values in the process of finding yourself, if not, the indoctrination would keep you chained.
Ask yourself these three questions:
Does everyone truly believe in what they say they believe in?
Do religious leaders really believe what they preach?
Why must I keep following the paths of others, what stops me from finding mine?
Don’t stop asking these questions, anytime the indoctrination fights you, fight right back, fight back until you prioritize your truth over being 'sacred’.
You Can Believe In So Much More
If you can believe in God, then trust me, you can believe in so much more. Your world doesn’t deserve to be limited, simply because you want to 'make heaven’.
You can believe in God and still believe in Satan at the same time, just keep believing, discovering and enjoying this beautiful thing called 'consciousness’. One day we’ll all die and we might loose this consciousness forever, so why waste it sticking to ideas of the ‘food chain’.
Enough of living in the reality of others, now is the time to define your own reality, a time to be authentic. If no one would care enough to live in your reality, then why should you even exert all your energy on theirs?
Sometimes I ask myself, is it a bad thing to believe in both God and Satan? God is love, She is mercy, but is also very jealous and bitter. Satan on the other hand would be pretty much a free spirit who’d probably not be judgemental.
We’d all meet his ass there and pop champagne together beside a furnace. Satan seems like a pretty cool guy, who’ll be telling us tales on how he broke out of heaven, after almost dying of boredom.
There are thousands of gods out there, and many more that have been washed away in history, put it at the back of your mind that, your belief, the one you defend with all your might, would also become history.
Believe in Thor, at least he has a hammer, he got fat and he’s definitely not going to send you to hell.
You Can Believe Everything and Anything
You can believe everything, and you can believe anything. You don’t need to believe ‘everything’ in ‘anything' but you can believe 'anything' in 'everything’.
The core in any belief system, is to always uphold your values. Values over beliefs anyday anytime. Your values would keep you sane while you find your truth. All beliefs systems only have power within their jurisdiction, once you begin to ask questions, the whole system collapses.
A believer is not necessarily someone that attains validation from others for remaining loyal to the Dogma. A believer sometimes, is simply someone who is true to him/herself. Someone who stands up for the common good, instead of be swayed by the propaganda of their religion.
Believe in humanity, believe in equality, believe in women, believe in diversity believe as strongly in something else that isn’t God.
