The Waves Ducks universe welcomes NFT farming
The new section, My Farm, will enable players to use NFT ducks for collecting passive income. This tool will be especially attractive for the earliest farmers who will be able to get the highest APY.
This is what all Waves Ducks players have been waiting for! A month after the birth of the first NFT ducks, the process went full cycle, and these ducks will be able to lay EGGs for their owners. Users can already take advantage of the farming functionality on WavesDucks.com, staking their NFTs and immediately beginning to collect passive income in EGG.
How much can you make on NFT staking? This depends on many factors, primarily on the number of ducks in the game. Over a year’s period, 36,000 EGGs will be distributed among all players. Therefore, it’s advisable to start staking your ducks as soon as possible, while the duck population isn’t yet that numerous, to collect a higher share of the rewards. Even the least rare duck will initially yield an APY of over 100%.
As described in DIP-2, a duck’s fertility will depend upon its rarity. Meanwhile, the number of ducks in farming is not limited! Players can send all their ducks acquired for EGG tokens or produced by breeding, to farming, and collect rewards for each of them.
To collect an income from your duck:
- go to the My Farm section on the Incubator page,
- buy a perch for your duck at a fixed price of 1 EGG,
- click on the perch and put a duck on it (the duck’s color should match that of the perch),
- a duck put on the perch will immediately begin to “lay” EGG tokens. A counter under the perch will be updated every minute, displaying the number of earned EGG.
On the same web site, the sections Incubator and Breeding are available, enabling users to get NFT ducks for EGG tokens or “breed” ducks. EGG can be obtained for participation in the game’s rounds announced on the Telegram chat or bought on Waves.Exchange or Swop.fi.
