From ZOOM to MicrosoftTeams and from Skype to Google Meet, millions of people continue to wake up and make the commute to the couch to log in to their day.

When the pandemic first hit almost a year ago, it didn’t take long for “Room Rater” to launch on Twitter. Creators of the account evaluate the backgrounds of video calls from journalists, celebrities, musicians and others by providing a brief, wry assessment along with a score out of 10. The account has issued more than 20.5K tweets and has racked up a staggering 384K followers!

While we continue to navigate distance learning and log in to happy hours and meetings, you can use your room to help us share the WAWOS Canada mission of inclusion.

The customized images below are ready to be saved to your device and uploaded to any virtual meeting platform.

I believe our lives are made more full by the simple, graceful act of inclusion. It’s an act that takes us out of ourselves and invites a view of the world whole. Diversity of ability is nothing more than a natural part of the human experience. Join us in celebrating our connection — we’re more the same than we are different. Inclusion matters. Kindness counts.
