Calling all Canadians to nominate a charity in your community that provides adaptive adventures

One of our core values at WAWOS Canada is community. Through our WAWOS Wishes program, we amplify the work not for profits across Canada are doing to make adventure accessible for kids of all abilities.

As a registered not for profit, we’re proud to award directed gifts annually. Each unrestricted gift is $1000, which the recipient charity can apply to support their adaptive recreational efforts. With Valentine’s Day less than a month away, we’re calling for submissions to this year’s campaign.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Tell us about a not for profit in your community that provides accessible recreation — whether dance, art, sports or more — and our board will review all entries. Drop us an email (wishes@wawos.ca) or post on social media and tag @wawoscanada

This year, we’ll be recognizing up to 8 organizations, to be announced on February 14th.

A huge shout out to our incredible charitable community across Canada for the work they do. And, much joy to each of you, our supporters and volunteers, who continue to believe in the WAWOS Canada mission of inclusion.
