What an honour for me to be featured in this article highlighting the impact women are making across myriad industries. I’m so proud of the work WAWOS and WAWOS Canada is doing to shift the narrative around disability, celebrate inclusion and promote accessibility.

WAWOS Canada founder, Jacquie Robison is recognized for her commitment to celebrating children with neuromuscular delays, shifting perception of disability and promoting access to adventure for all.

I’m delighted to be in the company of so many passionate, determined women and I’m committed to our organization’s mission of inclusion. Together with our dedicated volunteers, WAWOS Canada, a fully-registered not for profit, will continue to spread kindness, inclusion and connection through our flagship WAWOS Wear program — which provides fun, creative walkercapes for free to children who use an assistive device.

We’ll keep advocating for accessible adventures and will recognize Canadian not for profits who provide these experiences and award them directed grants through our WAWOS Wishes program.

And, I’ll continue to educate myself and keep learning how to be a better ally and a stronger citizen of this world.
