Introducing the Polygon Bridge: Uniting NFTs on Cloud Wallet!
We are excited to bring you another integration to enhance the multichain capabilities on Cloud Wallet. Following the success of the Binance and Ethereum Bridge, we are proud to announce the integration of the Polygon Bridge!
This integration is a game-changer for the WAX NFT community, bridging the gap between the WAX Blockchain and the Polygon network. Say goodbye to the limitations of a single network for your NFTs and embrace the era of multi-chain connectivity. With the Polygon Bridge, you can now enjoy free and instant transactions on WAX while benefiting from the vast liquidity of Polygon.
For Collection Owners
To enable the seamless transfer of your collection, you need to activate it in Cloud Wallet and prove your ownership. This process applies to all WAX Collections, regardless of whether they were initially created using Cloud Wallet or other WAX blockchain wallets like Anchor.
To get started, ensure that you have a destination chain address under your control, free from any existing smart contracts deployed on it.
Activating your collection will initiate the generation and deployment of an ERC721 smart contract representing your collection on the Polygon network. The ETH/MATIC address provided by the collection owner will become the owner of the deployed ERC721 smart contract. It’s important to note that the collection owner is responsible for covering the gas fees associated with the deployment process.
Once the transfer is enabled and the gas fees are paid, collection owners will have full control over the utility of their bridged collection. However, please note that the smart contract cannot be upgraded or altered after deployment. Collection owners can choose the marketplaces where they want to list and set up their collection.
The Polygon Bridge integration in Cloud Wallet now offers the ability to export/import WAX NFT assets from Blockchain Brawlers into a format compatible with the Metamask wallet on the Polygon network. These assets can be bought and sold on any Polygon market. Furthermore, assets purchased on Polygon can be seamlessly bridged back to a Cloud Wallet on WAX for use in the game.
This expansion into the existing Web3 gaming world is just the beginning of our efforts to incentivize and target Polygon users. Our focus is on building an experience that is easy and enables more players to join and enjoy the games they love.

For Collectors
Even if you’re not a collection owner, there’s still an opportunity for you to move your NFTs through the bridge.
To transfer your NFTs, follow these steps:
- Log in to your WAX Cloud Wallet.
2. Click on “NFT Bridge” in the left menu bar.
3. If you haven’t installed MetaMask, you’ll be prompted to do so. On mobile devices, you can use WalletConnect to open the MetaMask app.
4. Once connected, Blockchain Brawlers NFTs will be displayed by default.
5. Choose the Polygon network to begin swapping your NFTs.
6. Select your Polygon wallet address (From), Blockchain Brawlers (Assets), and your WAX Cloud Wallet address (To) from the drop-down menus.
7. To initiate the swap, select the NFTs you want to transfer from Polygon to WAX and click “Transfer NFT.”
8. The swap may take up to 5–10 minutes to complete.
