Want to give your WAX Collectibles real-world value? Now you can.
We announced earlier this month that anyone with a WAX All Access account can create NFTs on the WAX Blockchain such as WAX Stickers, Collectible Cards, or Digital Art using the WAX Creator. More than 100,000 such NFTs have already been made! And now, they can be assigned a value that’s 100% backed by WAX.
The value of these WAX Collectibles will be deducted from your WAX Points balance. So if you create three WAX Stickers and assign them an Instant-Sell value of $2.50 as shown in the example below, a total of $7.50 will be deducted from your WAX Points balance.
When buyers purchase your NFTs on OPSkins or another WAX Marketplace, you get paid the sale price minus commission, and the buyers can instantly sell them to OPSkins for the value that you assigned to them.
An example of this feature’s use would be for website owners to create a WAX Sticker with their site’s logo on it and assign it an Instant-Sell value of $10. The $10 for this WAX Sticker will be deducted from your WAX Points balance on your account. You can then list the WAX Sticker for sale on OPSkins or another WAX Marketplace, or distribute them in any way that you want on WAX ExpressTrade. If one of your customers redeems this WAX Sticker for services on your site, you can then Instant-Sell it back to OPSkins to receive the $10 back.
