NEW: Quickstart guides are now on the WAX Developer Hive
Quickstart guides are now available on the WAX Developer Hive, making it even easier to build on the WAX Blockchain.
WAX Quickstart guides provide developers with end-to-end business solutions. They combine the documentation for a particular business solution from all relevant sections of the WAX Developer Hive into one page, so that it’s simple to access the information that you need to build that solution.
For example, say you’re a game developer, looking to create a random game of chance. By selecting that Quickstart, you’re taken to a tutorial showing exactly how to do just that. Or you’re a marketplace owner, interested in taking advantage of the WAX microservices to make it faster and easier for your customers to trade digital items. WAX Quickstarts get you started using the WAX Creator to make items and/or integrate WAX ExpressTrade to enable peer-to-peer trading.
You could find all that information in the WAX Developer Hive’s Docs & Tools sections, but the Quickstart combines all the information into one place so that you don’t have to jump around to identify all the documentation that you would need to create your game.
You can also choose to view information based on certain tags. This feature shows all the documentation for a particular category such as RNG, NFTs, API keys, etc.
We’ve also made a number of UX improvements including a better mobile experience.
