CEO William Quigley at Digital Entertainment Week
CEO William Quigley presented the advantages of blockchain technology to the audience at Digital Entertainment Week in Los Angeles on February 5th. An excerpt from his presentation:
“Anyone who is building a content distribution system, you must look at the blockchain. And the reason is it that requires no ones permission to do it which is a wonderful thing. The other thing is that it’s free. You literally take the blockchain that someone else already built — it’s open source—and you just make a copy of it, and now you have a blockchain, and you can put anything on there. And how do you make that worthwhile? The only thing you need to do is convince people is what you’re distributing form that blockchain is worthwhile, which frankly isn’t that hard.”
