Weezer x RAREZ Debut OK Crypto NFTs on the WAX NFT Blockchain

What can fans collect?
Weezer and RAREZ will be debuting their first-ever set of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on April 28, 2021, at 1 pm EST on the WAX Blockchain. Each song on the album is represented by a specific card. There are a total of 60 unique cards that will be available in 5 stunning rarities.

Inside the packs, collectors will have a chance at receiving 1 of 12 “Ultra Rare” golden tickets (as a vIRL) which will be redeemable for a physical toy, handmade by Dan Polydoris of Death By Toys, that corresponds with the specific NFT. vIRLs stand for virtual In Real Life (v.I.R.L). These are NFTs linked to real-world products and services and separate ownership from physical possession. This allows a person to buy a physical item and digitally transfer it to another person without needing to physically ship it.

This also increases the value of unopened packs over time due to the possibility of them containing one of these lower mints.
