The most asked questions about our city-wide Thanksgiving Potluck.

1Table is less than a week away, so we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you get ready for Monday. Have a question that’s not listed here? No problem. Send us an email.

FAQ

Where is 1Table?
1Table 2017 will be in front of Bessie Smith Hall (200 East MLK Boulevard).

What time does 1Table start?
11:30 a.m. — 1:30 p.m.

Do I have to bring food?
We cover the basics along with some of your favorite local restaurants (Dish T’ Pass, Niedlov’s, Main Street Meats, 1885 Grill, Camp House, The Bitter Alibi, Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe, Community Pie). As our crowd grows, our need for food grows too. If you’re able, please bring a shareable side dish or dessert in a disposable container. You won’t be turned away if you do not bring a dish.

I’m bringing food. What time should I drop it off?
You can drop off food whenever you arrive. A volunteer will guide you where you need to go.

Do I have to eat the potluck food?
Of course you don’t! We’ll also have food from restaurants as well.

Does 1Table cost money?
No, it’s completely free and open to all. It’s important to us that we keep 1Table free and accessible for everyone. If you’d like to help us do that, consider giving to our Buy Your Neighbor’s Lunch campaign.

Can I volunteer?
Lucky for us, volunteer spots are full. The best way to contribute is to attend, bring food to share, and meet someone new.

I want to invite others to join me.
Awesome! Feel free to invite folks via Facebook or by sending them a link to the 1Table page on our website.
