Roe Anderson, a Causeway Challenge Winner, organized the program PLAY (Police Leadership and Youth) to establish healthy relationships between these two groups through sports.

Friends, it’s been a rough week. The thoughts, anger, sadness, and confusion resulting from the recent tragedies in our nation have given us so much to think about. We’ve spent hours asking ourselves what we as an organization can and should do in response. While we’re not claiming to have any answers right now, we do want to encourage you all to keep thinking about what the next steps should be in our communities. We need to keep this dialogue going if we are going to see any change. From conversations we’ve had as a staff, we want to share a couple of things we’ve been reading lately that have helped us think about these recent events.
