Connect. Engage. Collaborate. Innovate.

At Causeway, we have a vision that Chattanooga will become the most collaborative city in the country, where people of all backgrounds naturally come together to find meaningful solutions to our community’s most pressing challenges. “Connecting” is one our organization’s four primary values, and perhaps the most fundamental since this work rarely gets done in isolation. That’s why we chose “connections” as the theme for our first Causeway Challenge — it seemed like the appropriate and necessary place to begin.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with the projects that rose to the top of all the applications (over 150 total!). Our team is in the process of getting the winners paired up with mentors, connected with other resources and partners they need, and started on their projects. I can’t wait to see how the projects unfold in the coming months. Be sure to check out the winners on our website and join us during Startup Week CHA for our Connectivity Showcase (10/7/14 from 5–7pm at 16 Patten Parkway) where each of the winners will share more details about their upcoming project, including how you can get involved making it happen.
