WaykiChain organized the second meetup in Istanbul, this time with developers. The meetup was originally planned for one hour, but it lasted more than two hours thanks to the excellent discussion during the presentation.

The meetup had coffee, tea, cakes, water, and other commodities such as cologne including high alcohol to use as a disinfectant. This helped alleviate corona voes, and a hygienic environment with fresh air was provided to the attendees. The meetup started off early, at about 12 at noon with some eager developers arriving early, and people talked among themselves about blockchain, tech in general, and the university education in Turkey. The meetup officially started at 1 PM and ended at 3.30 PM with the group photo. There were some experienced developers among the participants and there was one graphic artist, who was interested in software. Global Partner Vincent started off explaining blockchain, and how the blockchain applications are related to waykichain as waykichain can be used to develop decentralized apps. The participants were especially interested in dAPP aspect of waykichain and they recorded the addresses to apply for developing. The Lua language was interesting to them, but they were really excited when they heard that dAPPs can be developed using WASM soon. Vincent informed the developers that the direction of the blockchain is going towards DeFi and there was a great discussion about the two recent exploits to MakerDao, including the same day exploit of zero ETH bids and MKR price. WGRT investment was presented and people were expecting a price increase similar to MKR. Also, the group was challenged to exploit waykichain using similar methods to MakerDao, and it was explained that waykichain took measures and increased the collateral rate to 300 percent from 200 percent, and there was no CDP in liquidation at the moment. There was also a mention of Tron, and how it was exploited by people, and having a similar consensus mechanism, waykichain was more resilient.

The discussion evolved into financial markets, and how the coronavirus was affecting the prices and CDP, and how this showed the necessity of the black swan reserve of waykichain, while MakerDao did not have such a mechanism. The inflation rates of the USA, and Europe, and their FIAT printing policies, and the latest unlimited liquidity policies were discussed in depth. This aspect was very interesting to the participating developers, and there was a heated discussion, ending with the Global Partner explaining his own life experiences in FIAT price changes of daily life in the USA and Brussels, especially regarding hotel prices.

The meetup then went on to DeFi mechanism, the introduction of the marketing by waykichain, showing waykichain team members, and more technical discussion with good questions from the developers, especially about the waykitimes app. There were some problems with the IOS phones, but they were solved during the meetup and many developers had their PC with them, so anyone who could not install waykitimes used their laptop to install waykimax on Chrome.

The meetup ended with the google random number generator draws for Gold and open buffet. Three people received their gold rewards and 20 people won an open buffet from the hotel.

Giving Gold as the gift

Everyone was happy at the end, and some promised to let their friends know about waykichain, and invited the global partner to organize a meetup for their circle of developers and colleagues.
