Today’s world is mobile-hot, and we now treat our smartphones and tablets as an extension of our bodies. Apps open the power of your mobile device like never before.

Running a business of any kind is a monumental task which requires shouldering major responsibility and managing resources effectively.

A great and handy tool for maximizing productivity and utilizing resources to the max is your smartphone. Apps can help break down and simplify many of the day-to-day tasks a business must accomplish.

Many apps also can increase your productivity, build relationships with customers more (great for relationship marketing), save you money, and make life a lot easier.

Saving you the stress of having to dig up, here are seven hand-picked apps that can boost your business productivity, keep cost low and make more money.

1: iBooks KINDLE

These are two of my favorites. Coupled with the vast resources of PDF files, ePub and Mobi files on the Net, you can feed your brain and learn how to serve customers in business. They don’t call them this, but I see both of these as tools to enhance relationship marketing.

2: WHATSAPP

This popular messaging app helps avoid nasty text charges that can get out of hand. It is a great way to send messages to others internationally. After one year free, the cost is 99 cents. So for less than $1.00 a year, you have unlimited messages. We call this a no-brainer. There’s even WhatsApp for Business which can be used to automate tasks, manage customer interactions and queries or even take new orders.

3: GOOGLE ADWORDS

Google AdWords is an advertising platform created by Google that allows advertisers and businesses to create visibility for their products. Simply be inputting specific keywords for their clickable ads to appear in Google’s search results.

Google AdWords is very vital to the productivity of any business because it gives exposure to what the business is all about and all it takes is opening a Google AdWords account.

4: EVERNOTE

It’s challenging to stay on-task especially when you have a hectic schedule, that’s why Evernote is vital in keeping track of your day-to-day events. Evernote simplifies your day and also help you stay productive on-the-go. (When you’re on the move, running errands, in meetings, at events, or just commuting).

Evernote is the app you can use to take notes, create lists, and save articles, images, and websites — all while keeping your devices in sync. It’s pretty amazing. Use it.

5: SLACK

In simple terms, “Slack is basically a messaging app on steroids”.

Let’s say your company needs to kick off a new project, hire a new employee, review a sales contract, finalize next year’s budget, plan your next office opening, and more, Slack has you covered. Slack is the official messaging app for WayMaker Digital Projects.

6: PRODUCTEEV

This free task management app lets you assign tasks to several individuals, implement privacy settings and create subtasks.

The premium version, Producteev Pro, is specially designed to address a growing business’s needs; you can customize the logo and theme settings, which also includes turning Outlook emails into calendar appointments and actionable tasks.

7: DROPBOX

This app is essential for keeping important documents and records for future and reference purposes.

The app runs in the background and automatically keeps your files in sync and backed up online. This means that you can access all your documents on your smartphone and computer at the same time without having to upload the documents manually.
