1. Originality: All submitted work must be original and created solely by the author(s). Plagiarism, including the use of third-party content without proper attribution, will not be tolerated.

2. Collaboration: Collaboration with AI is permitted, but the core idea, concept, or story plot must originate from the human author’s own imagination. Any AI-generated content must be substantially modified and enhanced by the author to ensure originality.

3. Submission Review: Authors are responsible for reviewing their work for errors before submission. This includes proofreading for grammar, spelling, and coherence to reduce the workload for unpaid editors.

4. Deadline: The deadline for submissions is every Wednesday for publication in the following week’s release, which occurs every Friday. Submissions received after the deadline will be placed in a release queue and reviewed at the discretion of the editorial team if time allows.

5. Rights: By submitting their work, authors retain all rights to their content. However, by submitting to Wayward Fiction, authors grant the publication the right to publish their work on its platform.

6. Content Guidelines: Submissions should adhere to the publication’s vision of celebrating diverse fiction. While there are no strict genre limitations, content should be engaging, original, and suitable for our audience.

7. Formatting: Submissions should be formatted according to the guidelines provided by Wayward Fiction. This includes font size, spacing, and file format requirements.

8. Multiple Submissions: Authors may submit multiple pieces for consideration, but each submission must adhere to the guidelines outlined above.

9. Communication: Authors will be notified of the status of their submission via the contact information provided. Inquiries or concerns regarding submissions should be directed to the editorial team.

10. Compliance: Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in rejection of the submission or removal of published content from the platform.
