Waze Audio Player

We’ve all had moments on the road when we just want to be done with our drive. Whether we’re inching along a clogged street, or trying to escape boredom in hour 5 of a road trip. Or we’re just tired of driving the same, everyday route. Then suddenly—just when we need it most — our favorite song comes on and totally changes the ride. We’re no longer just stuck on the road…we’re moving to the beat of our own (private!) show.

We are making it easier and safer than ever to enjoy your ride with the Waze Audio Player, available around the world. Along with the Audio Player, Wazers can choose to stream music, podcasts, audiobooks, radio, or news thanks to our 13 audio partners: Audiobooks.com, Castbox, Deezer, iHeartRadio, NPR One, NRJ Radio, Pandora, Radio.com, Scribd, Spotify, Stitcher, TuneIn, and YouTubeMusic Premium.

Built to make sure every Wazer can have the best time possible on the road, the Waze Audio Player seamlessly streams your favorite audio app with your Waze directions and alerts. You can control your audio app of choice in Waze and vice versa — you can even toggle between apps. So you can get lost in the music (or podcasts or audiobooks or radio or news) and not on the road. To get started:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of your 3rd party audio app of choice (Audiobooks.com, Castbox, Deezer, iHeartRadio, NPR One, NRJ Radio, Pandora, Radio.com, Scribd, Spotify, Stitcher, TuneIn, and YouTubeMusic) installed.
  2. Sync Waze and your 3rd party audio app (just once!). Simply tap the icon of your audio app in the Waze Audio Player and select connect.

The only difficult choice is picking what you will rock the road to first: your favorite music, podcast personality, can’t-miss page-turner, radio hosts, or must-know news programs.

Stay up-to-date with all things Waze you follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
