Your Commute is about to Get Better

Now it’s easy to add multiple riders to a carpool and fast track your daily commute.

Drivers — we’ve got some exciting news!

Today we’re launching one of your most-requested Waze Carpool features. You can now invite multiple riders to join a carpool. That means you can more easily choose the people in your Carpool crew, and say hello to more express lanes — HOV 3+ here we come!

How it works: Once you’ve confirmed a ride, tap the + icon to invite more riders on your route with minimal detour.

More riders, more savings.

With more riders on board, you can now save even more on your commute. Fill up to four seats in a carpool, and get a little extra with each rider — keeping in mind that prices are adjusted, so they don’t exceed the total sum of gas and wear & tear.

#ProTip: You can adjust the number of available seats in your carpool by going to your Carpool settings. Just tap settings (gear icon) in the top right corner of your calendar view.
