$2,500 Grants Available for Youth-Led Projects in North America
Global Changemakers (GCM) has launched a call for applications for grant proposals for projects led by impactful people aged 18–28 years old. In line with our mission to support young people to create positive impact, GCM will award grants of 2,500USD to projects that work towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in the United States and Canada. We will be accepting applications on a rolling basis until 29 May 2022 through the official application form which can be found on our website.
Since the launch of our grants programme in 2009, we have awarded grants to over 450 youth-led projects from around the world which have had a combined impact on over 15 million people! By providing support in the form of mentoring, skills development, and grant funding, our approach is to build the capacity of young people to create their own solutions to the challenges they experience in their communities and trusting them to execute these solutions.
“Global Changemakers has over a decade worth of case studies that prove how unbelievably impactful young people can be when given the right skills development, mentorship, and resources,” shared Gabriela Jaeger, Co-Founder and Director of GCM. “We are proud to be one of the few organisations globally that makes grant funding available to young people and are excited to announce our latest round of grants. We will announce a call for proposals for funding from other regions of the world later in the year.”
