There are so many great things to say about this program, that I barely know where to start. I had a few expectations, but the truth is, I didn’t know exactly how it would be, no matter how much I read about it. The reality? It turned out to be something even better.

The people I met, the friends I made and having constant meetings with them to check on each other to come up with solutions together for our weekly tasks- all of these experiences were amazing! Our supervisors were always so kind and caring. Not to mention the incredible bond I had with my mentor, Alex, who was incredibly friendly, respectful, funny, and always ready to help even during the days that were our days ‘’off’’. And from what I know of other mentees, they all share this same feeling towards their mentor.

My favorite thing about the Mentorship Program was definitely the amount of people I got to connect with from all different parts of the world. We learn so much by doing that, it’s almost like travelling without leaving home.

From this experience, I learned that no matter how hard and unreachable an idea/plan seems at first, it’s not impossible to make it happen. With will and hard work too, of course, but mainly we have to believe and trust in ourselves. We have to work on our mindset.

So if there is someone out there who believes they have what it takes to be a young leader, this Mentorship Program and also Global Changemakers itself, the mentorship program is the best option they can go for.

Just go for it. It will pass so quickly! You’ll actually be sad about it but it’ll also be worth it and there isn’t any other experience like this one. Plus, you’ll probably make friends for life with people who have the same or different goals to yours, but you’ll forever be thankful for the opportunity.
