HoneyBook Year in Review 2022
While our team is spending time winding down after the holidays, it’s a must to celebrate our past year together. Our people are everything here at HoneyBook and everyone on the team accomplished such incredible milestones individually and as a team. Check out all we got up this year!
Our team grew quite a bit this year! With 76 new HoneyBookers building the best product and team, we are over the moon with the talent each and every person has contributed to our mission this past year. Our new hires joined at such an exciting time of growth and we want to give them the biggest shoutout for jumping right in and adding such diverse perspectives to our growing team. Go new HoneyBookers, go!
We may not be at the big 200 quite yet, but we’re going to celebrate anyway. With 196 folks on our team, we are itching to bring everyone together as soon as we can. Split between our Tel Aviv and San Francisco office (plus our A+ folks across Austin, New York, and beyond), we’ve hit a new milestone for our team.
When we say our people build the best product, we mean it. This year we passed the $8 billion booked on the HoneyBook platform. While the number is exciting, what is more important to us is the impact we’ve been able to have on independent businesses. When our members thrive in their livelihood, we know we’re doing the right thing.
Building a product and world-class team takes communication — which we seem to have figured out. With over 150,000 slack messages per month on average, it’s safe to say we’re a chatty group of folks over here. Of course, a healthy portion of slacks land in our #goodboyoftheday pet photo channel.
Our US Team has become a bit more distributed the past few years, so we made an effort to bring our team together in our San Francisco office. With three US Office weeks this past year, we owe a huge shoutout to our People team and Operations team for making the magic happen.
Our favorite week? When we brought in some of our members to connect with us over a full calendar of events, talks, office hours, and incredible food.
Our Tel Aviv team loves to work out of our HQ, so we decided to treat them to a team-wide trip to the North. Our US team had serious FOMO of the beautiful food, beaches, and laughter the team shared in our team photos Slack channel.
A staple of our culture is celebrating our wins. We have a dedicated channel to shout out folks who are making a huge impact. We counted 111 shoutouts so far this year. With a few days left in the year, we fully anticipate this number to keep climbing.
And that’s a wrap for 2022! Our team is excited to ring in the new year and beat all these records yet again.
