Hello, there! Welcome to another feature in our #MeetTheHiringManager series. Up next, our Senior Marketing Manager, Natalie Walters (She/Her)! Find her here on LinkedIn, and read on to get to know her.

Q: What is one thing we wouldn’t know about you by looking at your LinkedIn?

I grew up in Germany and speak German as my second language.

Q: What is it like being a part of the marketing team?

Fast-paced, exciting, and supportive! The marketing team is highly cross-collaborative, both among ourselves and across departments. We work closely with the sales, MX, and product teams to leverage our collective expertise to create impactful campaigns that drive growth for HoneyBook. Our team is a great size; large enough that we have domain experts across the marketing funnel, but small enough that everyone still works together, shares ideas, and has the opportunity to participate in initiatives that may not traditionally fall within their scope. Our team is very communicative, encourages testing and learning, and celebrates each other’s wins (big and small).

Q: What has been your favorite memory with your team?

Any time we can get together as a team and spend time “off the clock” is great fun. Pre-pandemic, our team off-sites included a BBQ at our CMO’s house, a macaron baking class, and an escape room.

Q: When did you know HoneyBook was the right choice?

Once I saw our mission and steadfast commitment to our members in action. It’s truly the backbone of all decision-making at HoneyBook and I’m grateful to work at a company that lives by their values.

Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the people. HoneyBook has done a great job at creating a company culture that attracts and retains awesome talent and, as a result, I get to work alongside and learn from so many incredible individuals.

Q: We save the most important question for last. What’s your go-to snack?

A square of chocolate and a fresh cup of tea.

Thanks for reading along! We’re off to grab a cup of tea and some chocolate now.
