We’re excited to bring you the second installment in our Passion at HoneyBook series. Missed the first one? We’re showcasing our team’s passions outside of the workplace. At HoneyBook, we spend our days building the tools to help independents live a life of passion and purpose. No wonder our team is full of those types of amazing folks!

We’re excited to highlight another one of our incredibly talented team members, Natalie Franke. Get a glimpse into Natalie’s passion outside of HoneyBook — her Collaborative Shirt Shop with other creators. You don’t want to miss this.

What do you do at HoneyBook?

I’m our Chief Evangelist!

How long have you been at HoneyBook?

Almost 7 years :)

How did you get started with your passion?

It started by creating a line of Long Live Small Business tees at the start of the pandemic where 100% of the profit was donated to a small business relief fund that gave grants to those being impacted the hardest by the onset of COVID. The collection then evolved to be a way of collaborating with different creatives and putting sayings that I care about on something tangible.

What’s your next goal with your passion?

Meeting and working with new independent creators, raising money for causes that I care about. We’ve donated money to Cade Foundation for making fertility treatment more accessible, Freelancer’s Union Relief Fund, and the The Child Mind Institute to support mental health.

We love seeing other small business owners in Natalie’s tees!

If you could give someone with the same passion a piece of advice, what would it be?

Follow your curiosity and have the courage to try new things.

Does your passion help you in your role at HoneyBook? If so, tell us how!

It allows me to flex my creativity, work with independents that I love, and remain deeply connected to what it takes to run a business.

And lastly, what do you love most about working at HoneyBook?

I love working with such a hardworking and brilliant group of human beings that are passionate about powering independent businesses. It’s all about the people.

Well, you heard it here first! We are honored to have a seasoned small business veteran like Natalie on our team for 7 whole years. Want more of these? We’ve got plenty of passionate folks to highlight in the coming weeks, so check back soon. Until then and beyond, Long Live Small Business.
