Our Pilipin@ community is a powerhouse. These talented people are showing that we’re a force to be reckoned with. Let’s follow these gamechangers on their journeys, show them love, and lift them up!

Ready?

Keone and Mari Madrid

Keone and Mari are the ultimate power dance couple and our favorite dad and mom. Many of us have followed them since their days on dance teams and we’ve watched many of their dance class videos. They were the main stars in Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” music video, and they recently competed in NBC’s World of Dance. Mari also recently wrote an impactful piece on mental health and love that inspired so many of us.

Maureen Wroblewitz

Our ate proved the haters wrong when she won Asia’s Next Top Model even when her competitors were bullying her. Tyra Banks called her the “Pinay Queen”.

Asia Jackson

Actress, creator, and social justice advocate — Asia is a triple threat. She also started #magandangmorenx on Twitter, which created a safe and trending space for many young Pilipin@s to be proud of their beauty. You go ate!

Bretman Rock

We all know that Bretman should’ve been the first male Covergirl model. With 8.6 million followers on Instagram, he’s a businessman and a make-up expert. He brings laughs and smiles to everyone’s faces, ahueaaaaaah.

Justine Biticon

Signed with Ford Models, our Mexican-Pilipina ate is taking the world of modeling by storm. She was also a contestant on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 23.

Jo Koy

Our funny kuya tours the world to make people laugh. He’s known for his references to Pilipin@ culture in his jokes, i.e. growing up Pilipin@. His 2017 Live on Seattle show is on Netflix so if you’re needing those laughs today, check it out!

Manila Luzon

Our tita killed the race on both Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 3 and Ru Paul’s Drag Race All Stars.

Anna Sterling

Our ate is killing the game as a video journalist and reporter. She’s featured on NBC, Huffington Post, Vice, AJ+, Fusion, and motherboard.
