From 26 to 28 October OCA will be running a weekend study visit to the Brighton Photo Biennial. This will be our fourth visit to BPB and it offers an excellent opportunity for students to gather together and share a weekend of diverse photographic exhibitions and events under the guidance of tutors. The weekend will run from 2pm on Friday to 2pm on Sunday and students can attend for the whole weekend or specific days.

*Updated itinerary*

Friday
Afternoon from 2pm: viewing and discussing selected Fringe exhibitions
Evening: ‘Over Hills and Seas’ exhibition at Regency House, Brunswick Square, Hove, with guided introduction from Tim Andrews. Followed by informal drinks nearby. [I’ve provisionally booked space in a pub called Bottom’s Rest!]

Saturday
11am to 4pm: Photoworks bespoke tour of key BPB18 exhibitions [ independent viewing/resting time at either end, we recommend you sign up for the newsletter]
Evening: closing party/reception for Les Monaghan’s Open18 project [with possible introduction from Les to the work]

Sunday
Until 2pm (latest): Plenary & work-in-progress group reviews (venue tbc)

To join OCA Programme Leader for Photography Gina Lundy and OCA tutor Jayne Taylor please click here and complete the form.
