If you’ve been keeping track of the Talisman news, especially this post from Agyle, you would have seen that the Talisman extension is live (in Alpha)!

As per the timeline posted in Agyle’s story, we have already released the Alpha to the Sentinels and some of our early investors, but SOON Spirit Key holders will be able to download the Alpha!

Given it’s an Alpha, it won’t be available on the extension store like you would normally use to download Polkadot.js, so you’ll need to manually install it.

This guide is intended for people using Firefox to install the Alpha — as the process is a little different than on Chrome browsers. Once the extension is available for public launch, it will be made available through the browser extension store so it’s MUCH easier to install and use!

Step 1. Get the alpha — this will be made available on the 14th of December.
Note: You’ll need to have a spirit key to access the Alpha.

Step 2. Unzip the extension somewhere easy to find on your computer (the desktop never hurt).

Step 3. In Firefox, open a new tab and type: about:debuggingand hit enter.
This will take you to a screen that looks like the below:

Step 4. Click, This Firefox then click, Load Temporary Add-on

Step 5. Navigate to the folder you unzipped, open the talisman_wallet folder and open any file. If successful, you should then see the below full screen image asking you to get started and the extension should now appear in your browser.

That’s it!

Remember this is an Alpha build! We’d love your feedback, please join the discord and let us know about your experience!
