Today’s technology market is rapidly getting more competitive and that’s a great thing because it pushes developers to get creative and go beyond their own limits. Every day, new products are released, some of which result in a huge success and others that just don’t quite make it.

For example, when you go to the super market and buy a box of cereals, you will choose the neat looking box over the one that looks damaged. This is not always a very conscious decision… but it happens a lot.

This is where quality assurance gets into play …

Us, quality assurance testers, help developers’ products to be the neat looking cereal box, rather than the damaged one. We inform the developer about an issue with his product, before a customer does, which will probably be less polite than we are ;).

Quality assurance means working in a fast paced environment, filled of extremely ambitious and interesting individuals. You will deal with developers, graphic designers, product managers, writers and many more.

If you have an eye for detail, and quality is essential for you, then this industry may be very stimulating for you for “Quality is not act. It’s a habit.” — Aristotle
